Specifically looking for individuals who have some or all of the following experiences/qualifications:

1. 5-10 years of Lithium battery product development experience.
2. Mechanical engineer with cell internal and external design experience.
3. Cell design assembly tooling and fixturing.
4. Optimization of product design and construction to achieve and sustain world leadership performance levels.
5. Experience in technology transfer to support manufacturing technology development and process scale-up.
6. A track record of excellence in developing state of the art battery products is essential.
7. Demonstrated expertise in battery fabrication and testing is required.
8. Strong interpersonal and project leadership skills are also needed.

These positions will be a key part of both the R&D and Manufacturing teams. We are looking for experienced people with Lithium PRIMARY experience - MnO2 or SVO or CFx or V205 best of all. Lithium ion alone is NOT sufficient.

Principal Electrochemist, Advanced Battery Development: The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience with lithium primary batteries. The Principal Electrochemist will be responsible for cathode development, battery systems optimization and establishment of internal testing in a variety of test vehicles to simulate and develop prototypes. The ideal candidate will have successfully worked on various battery configurations that have proceeded from initial prototype build through commercial volumes. The candidate must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and hands-on with extensive knowledge in the electrochemistry of advanced battery systems.

Battery Design Engineer: The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in design of lithium primary batteries. The ideal candidate will have successfully designed various battery configurations from initial prototype build through commercial volumes. The candidate must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and hands-on with extensive knowledge in designing lithium primary batteries. The Battery Design Engineer will be responsible for designing exact customer-specific medical batteries from initial prototypes to commercial volume and establishing standard qualification testing of all manufactured batteries.

VP/Director of Battery Engineering: This position will the most senior battery-engineering role in the company. The VP/Director of Battery Engineering will be responsible for the company’s product design/development and standard qualification testing of all manufactured batteries. The ideal candidate will have 5-10+ years of experience in design of lithium primary batteries. The ideal candidate will have successfully designed various battery configurations from initial prototype builds through commercial volumes. The candidate must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and hands-on with extensive knowledge in designing lithium primary batteries.
